Of course, I ordered a no-name brand cartridge at a lower price. Anyone have a work-around?

Disable/delete LX_cats, it's a spyware program from lenmark. I don't know if that will get rid of the fault, but it may. Lenmark places a code strip in their cartridges and that spyware program imbedded in their operation software uses your computer to read the strip and reports back to their website.
