Default Printer sharing

Hi Guys

I've got three computers in the same room and would like them all to be able to access the same printer, all of the machines are currently connected to a D-link Router to allow internet access. Please could you advise me as to how I can get all the machines printing

Many thanks

Velcs

you could either get a printer server or just connect the printer to one of the computers and then you can share it like that but the only problem with that is that the computer with the printer attatched would have to be switched on for any of the other computers to print anything

Having a printer server is also more expensive and more hassle to set up than simple connecting it to one of your networked computers.

I have 2 computers networked and sharing a printer which is connected to my computer, and it is really simple to set up and haven't experienced any problems as yet.

Depending on how often all three computers use your printer (along with your wallet) would decide whether or not a printer server would be adequate, personally I wouldn't bother.
