Hi, again,
I am having trouble connecting my Epson SX100 to my NEC computer via a USB Port.
It's just not happening!!
When I go to Add New Hardware I get a message to the effct that it won't load due to the fact that the PC is already trying to load some hardware.
I am unaware of any other hardware being loaded.
Is there a way of finding out what my PC thinks it is trying to install?
I really need to install this printer so a fast response would be really appreciated,
many thanks as always,

Slime.

P.S. I am sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Is this a new printer or has it been setup/working on this machine previously?

Hi,
thanks for the fast response.
The printer is brand new, 2 days old.

The normal procedure is to install the CD then plug the USB and power in.

You don't need to go anywhere near add/remove programs.

Thanks mate,
when I do that it does not seem to make a connection via the USB port, so when I try to install manually through 'Add New Hardware' I get the message that the PC is already trying to load some hardware.
I need to know how to find the source of that message & then I believe I will be sorted.
I hope this makes sense!
Regards,

Slime.
