Hello all,
I want to buy a new scanner from my local pc shop. Problem is, im not sure if it will be compatible with Ubuntu because it doesn't say anything about Linux/Ubuntu on the packaging and the only member of staff i could get a hold of at the time hardly knew how to work the till.. So anyway, is there a website where i will have to download/install compatible drivers or will the cd that comes with it sort me out?

Found it, already in the Add/Remove feature in Ubuntu.
