hi people

whenever i scan a document it comes out in some sort of
hieroglyphics its fine until you send it to word or any other program then the hieroglyphics appear..
your help would be appreciated as the hammer is next

In the scanner software package, there should be an option to set the file format .... i.e .tif or .jpg
these files can then be used by other software packages, such as Word etc.
This option will also be available if you use the "save as" option, when saving the scanned file.
