Default 2ms vs 5ms

How big of a difference if any at all can you tell between these two? I am looking at getting a new monitor for gaming.

How fast are your responses? 5ms=1/200 sec, better than 200fps. Are you planning on that sort of frame rate?

Default 2ms vs 5ms

2ms = 500hz refresh rate
5ms = 200hz refresh rate

But be aware that not all companies measure the time equally, Some measure the time between black and white and others measure the time between gray - gray or measure gray and another color. The 2ms is often a little bit more money because the refresh rate is faster, but unless your into high def games and dvds then you should'nt notice any difference between 5 ms and 2 ms providing you choose a decent brand, my personal fav is samsung, i'm getting this monitor http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-062-SA when ever i can get hold off a friend with a credit card :P whats your budget?

Yeah Kano i noticed that monitor while looking....im mostly into fps games such as medal of honor, call of duty and battlefield....i would like to keep it under $200, but am a little flexible with that.

best bet would be going into your nearest computer store and asking them, also this way you can check for dead pixles and stuff there and then.
