Default 4870x2 VS GTX 295

Finally Nvidia made a card that is actually comparable to the 4870x2 because the GTX 280 is only one card. How can you compare that to two cards? And if you look, it compted nicely agaisnt it. So heres a poll. Which will you be buying/ rather want?...

Would go witht he Nvidia myself but then again the 4850x2 is a reasonable amount cheaper. I guess it depends if you want to spend £410 on a graphics card (Nividia) or around £250 for the Radeon?

Also seen an article:

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/23915...n#latestPrices

on the Radeon here that makes interesting reading.

lol, as mentioned by Gherkin, the ATi card is cheaper and gives same-ish performance, get the ATi then unless you completly hate them, theres no reason in not getting them, although Nvdia do provide better drivers. Also do you mean 2X 4870 in CF or 4870x2 (dual GPU), cos' if it was 2X 4870 in CF the GTX 295 wouldn't stand a chance, atleast not in my eyes.
