Default 8800 GTX or Ultra

Hello,

I can't decide whether to go for the EVGA8800GTX or the EVGA8800 Ultra.
The reason i'm asking for help is that there seems to be different variants of them.
The 8800GTX KO Edition comes in at around £400, but you can get an EVGA Ultra for the same price. The Memory Clock Speed is lower on the GTX, but it beats this Ultra on Core Clock Speed.Im not sure which is more important.I guess i'm asking if a high end GTX would be better than a low end Ultra ?.

Here's the two in question:

Thanks

Rich

Default 8800 GTX or Ultra

wow, prices are high in your country. well, the Ultra is basically a overclocked GTX. the amount of memory on it and the number of stream processors are the same. take a look at this. http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards....=515&card2=474

just agust to the clock speeds of memory and GPU and compare.
