So i have a 8800GTS and i Also have a 24" Dell Monitor im gonig to get a 22" Dell monitor also and i want to hook them both up i was wondering can i run them independently and if i do what does this mean?

I know i can do the Drag and Drop thing but do i have any other options?

I will also be setting them up with 2 DVI's

You can run them as one large monitor, cloned, or two separate monitors. Two separate allow you to drag things across but act as two separate maximizable monitors - you can run a game on one, then tab out without losing the game (on a windowed game) to another window on the other mionitor, for example.

There is a program available (no idea what it's called) which will allow the taskbar to stretch across both monitors, creating one monitor in two parts if you get me.

Your best bet is finding this and using it as one large monitor. Clone is useless unless you're using one for a display.
