You did notice that the scan one is on pre-order?

If you want a GTX, and can afford it, buy it

You won't get 1080 on that tv as the tv doesn't have enough physical lines to display true hd content.

You'll need a resolution of at least ****x1080 for that.

And a GTX is massive overkill for that tv. A 8800GT is massive overkill for that tv. A 320mb or 640mb GTS is massive overkill for that TV.

Do it right and get a 8800GT and a 20" monitor which will cost roundabout the same as the GTX you're looking at.

Cewy, I know it's hard but please listen to me.

Your tv does not have the capability of displaying true 1080 whether interlaced or progressively scanned.

It's taking a hd signal and basically compressing it to fit the 480 lines of resolution resident on your tv.

If your tv specs were a pc monitor think of it as a very very old crt.

You need to trust me on this as I know a little about what I'm telling you. You'd do much better purchasing a dedicated pc monitor not least because of the faster refresh, higher contrast ratio and brightness but also because a 20, 22 or 24" monitor can display more physical lines of a video signal. Heck, a 17 or 19" tft can display more lines than your tv.
