Achieved most simply by 4 identical fans, 2 in, 2 out. And about your futureness yellowbird: You don't need to OC your CPU (well... only in certain circumstances..) Carbon (Hardware dude on these forums) will tell you not to use SLi, because he hates it. I've never used it, but a lot of people do so it can't be all that bad ![]() But generally speaking (And I'm pretty sure Carbon would agree with this) you'd b far better off with a single really good GPU, and a good PSU, than a crappy to alright PSU and 2 low end graphics cards.

Okay 4D Fordy.Thanks a lot,man.
In the future i'll change the graphic card, and maybe the PSU as well. Now i tell you something about i tested today. Actually i have 3 case fans : 1-front -intake , 1-back-exhaust and one 1 side, exhaust. I tried to change the side case fan,to put it as "intake" but i'm surprised, all the temps are getting higher with 2-4 C.Normally, that shouldn't happent, right?Because the side case fan blows the cool air directly to CPU and GPU. I changed it back, and i added 1 more case fan on side,so now i have 4 ![]() 1 front -intake , 2-on side -exhaust ,1-back-exhaust,and i can say the temperatures are okay, idle and heavy load. Riva Tuner is now on "auto" ,and i'm really surprised, the GPU temp. doesen't get higher than 75-77 C,after i play Crysis (or whatever i play )By the way : i tried Crysis with all High, AA X 8 and Off,and honestly ,i don't see any difference between AA and no AA. Than i tried with V-SYNC On and Off. |

With 1 in and 3 out it's kinda like blowing out what isnt there, it's almost like - but I doubt it would - making a vacuum inside your PC, you don't want that. You want a nice lot of air in there, BUT, a constantly changing air, so it's always cool air, goes in, heats up from CPU etc. and then exits again. For this to work affectively you need to blow in exactly the same as you blow out. I'd have, the front and one of the side fans blowing in, and the other side and the rear fan blowing out. Can't help you with RivaTuner I'm afraid, I only use it to the extent that I had to install it to get a GPU monitor gadget to work.

Okay,so which one from the side do i have to put it as intake?
I thought is a bad idea to have 2 fans on side , i mean 1 intake and 1 exhaust. The front and back ones, that's for sure: front -intake , back -exhaust. How would you recomend about the side fans? My case is Cooler Master CM 690. I have to slots there, for case fans. So,which slots is better for intake / exhaust,on the side ? Thanks again, 4D Fordy. |

I forgot something,i presume important.
Would be a good idea if i cover the upper side? I mean, for a better air flow, and second... there is like a "dust vacuum cleaner" |

Assuming you don't cover it in cloth and restrict air flow you can if you want but it isn't 100% necessary unless you work in a very dusty room..
I've never in my life used a case with case fans so far (Give a few days and it will all change) so I'm not sure but I know cloth restricts air flow far more than a decent plastic or metal filter. |

Hot air rises, that's about the only thing I can think of that means which one is which on the side will matter in the slightest.
What I mean is if you stick the intake on the one underneath, you can be sure you're not blowing in the hot air you've just blown out. So the top one can be exhaust and it will all go above your PC. Other than that it hardly matters.

But that's why i wanna cover the upper side: for a better airflow.

Why would covering it provide a better airflow?
By putting cloth or anything at all over it, you're restricting the particles in the air to only going through where there is holes in the cloth, thus decreasing airflow.

So,i just changed the underneath case fan on side, now is intake.
I will test it,in idle and in heavy load, but i think more than 99 % that this is the best way. Until 30 minutes ago,i used to have a cloth on the upper side of my case. ![]() I forgot about that.Someone told me that's a very good idea, for a better air flow,if i cover the upper side.I toke it away. I will attach later some print screens from Everest -temperatures,idle and after some gaming. Thanks you ,guys. |
