Default Acer X193W, weird sound coming from it

Hello everybody, i hope you can help me, i got a monitor for christmas(acer X193W) and it makes a weird noise, especially with dark colors it makes a more louder noise, so my question is this what could be cousing this ?, my graphics card(nvida 7600GT)? or what ?, thanks ...

Hi, welcome to the forums.

If it's coming from the actual monitor there is very little you can do, except get it exchanged and see if another is better, if not and it is still annoying try another brand/model.

Hi, and thanks for the welcome and for the reply, so it's the monitors fault?, is there any chance that it could be my pc somehow, the cable or something ?

oh and i almost forgot some of my past monitors made a similar noise aswell, one of them only made it at a certain resolution and the other one made it sometimes it was kind of random, do you still think i should go to where i bought it and ask them(or return it whtever) ?

also when i turn the brightness to maximum there is no noise, the less brightness the more noise there is...

Sounds like the backlight or inverter is faulty to me. I'd just swap it out for a new one.
