How high have you got the graphics settings turned up in the game. Sometimes if it is too high the card can just not render it and does all sorts of funny things.

If that is not the case have you got all the latest drivers installed? There may well be updates available, check the manufacturers website.

There are things that you can change in the control center of the card but I don't think that they will help with this very much.

Does the problem come in all games or just the ones you mention? Have you tried running an older game to see if you still get the problems?

Also, have you always had this problem or is it a new one?

most of the games have had this graphics issue i'v got, except very simple games e.g. a game i got free with orange box called peggle extreme works fine, very simple (but fun).
i tried original Dawn of war although its prob not old enough for what you mean (2004), i also tried tomb raider golden mask which is really old (1999), although that didn't work anyway because its that old.

dawn of war still had graphics issues line etc around the map.

i built the pc, got it going properly about a week ago, so its been a problem ever since i got it going and started to play games on it.

i'm gonna ask the ati people about it see if they can help me too.
anymore suggestions would be cool. thanks.

Yeh, it sounds more like a problem with the card rather than the rest of the computer if the computer works fine otherwise.
