Default ATI Gecube 2400 Pro

Hi

Can someone help

I am upgrading my graphics card but short on cash so going for a cheap one.
I have stumbled upon the ATI Gecube 2400 Pro HD 256mb card.
Only it says "Certified For Windows Vista"

Does this mean i can only use it with windows vista or does it mean it will work with windows vista and windows xp because i have windows xp on my system.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Default ATI Gecube 2400 Pro

It means it will work for both but was designed for Vista with DX10 in mind (XP is DX9)
And it is a very low end card, so a few questions
1.What is your budget?
2.And what will this card be used mainly for?
As I am sure I can find a better card than the 2400 pro

Hey thanx for the help by the way

My budget is really short at only £75.00. Im going to use it mainly for gaming as i am going to use 2 of these cards together on my motherboard to use crossfire.

My motherboard also has an overclocked system bus so i thought it could be faster. I also chose it because it most be AGP for the SLI technology to work with both cards.

My motherboard is the Abit Fatal1ty FP IN9

Let me see.
You want a PCI-E card(the ATI Gecube 2400 Pro) to use crossfire with AGP on your SLi motherboard?
You are very confused.
This is your motherboard
It is PCI-E
You need 2 nVidia PCI-E graphics cards for that motherboard to go Sli.
Something you aint gonna be doing for £75.
Just buy the best single card you can for £75 and stop this crazy talk

Yeah Im so confused im still learning though.

I thought that graphics card slots were AGP but you can get some for PCI-E
I thought you had to use AGP graphics cards in an AGP slot for the SLi to work lol

Sometimes I just dont think
Thanks for the diagram of the motherboard by the way
