I'm buying a video card for the first time and wanted some advice on buying one. Both are a 8800 GT ...made by different companies...does anyone have a preference???

Both are probably factory overclocked so will be different speeds/specs.

Get the better/faster of the two as brand name wise they are as good as each other.

EVGA has a step-up program as well.

Totally! Its up to one to find the brand which has the best performance for best price I usually go with XFX since I have only had good expirience with them, but EVGA has lots to offer too.
