Default BFG 8800 GTS 512mb

Hi everyone,

I have just sorted out the issues with my PC crashing when gaming but i still feel that my GPU (BFG 8800 GTS 512mb) sounds a little noisy under load,
not just the fan noise but it also makes a sound like a hard drive running when gaming (hard to explain), I have never had a graphics card like this one before (BFG 8800 GTS) so unsure if the noises it's making is normal. This may sound like a stupid question to some but best to find out before i go and send it back to BFG.

Thanks for your time.

The PC I built:
Antec P182 Gunmetal Grey Super Mid Tower Case
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 SLACR 95W Edition"
Asus P5K-E WiFi Motherboard
BFG 8800gts 512mb
Crucial Ballistix 2GB 1066MHz(BL2KIT12864AA1065)
Serial ATA 200gb Hardrive
Corsair HX 620w psu,
SONY DVD-ROM DDU1613
NEC DVD_RW ND-2510A

I have a BFG 8800GTS and it makes no such noises, if it's still under warranty it won't do any harm in sending it back, unless you critically rely on it

No worries matey, where did you get it from? Are you familiar with the RMA process?

I can be of assistance if you need anything

Yup, over 28 days so it'll have to be direct to the manufacturer.
