Is the entire country out of stock?
I ordered off scan and they said payment had been authorised and deliver was to be today (30/11/07) today I get an email saying they're out of stock and won't have any until the 15/12/07. Absolutely furious!
I found one place that will do them on Thursday but again how much of a backlog of demand is there and will I even get one on Thursday?

Hi Alex
yeah, not impressed, they said they would offer free carriage on my next order, but I think even that is worth a couple of quid, overclockers charged an extra £10 for the card but the amount of testimonials they had said it all. My games arrived this morning, I really enjoy looking at the packaging

Yeah, the packaging is what it's all about. I feel for ya.

I'm getting rather annoyed lately with scan. Fired off an email after I cancelled the gpu advising them I was less than happy (lately) with their trading practices. Because it seemed to me that they were quoting stock of some items simply to get orders even though they didn't have stock.

I've spent (of my money and of friends) well over £5k with them in the past couple of years and only in the past 6 months or so have I become a bit disallusioned with them. As it stands now I won't be using them anymore and won't be recommending them in any forum posts until they get their blinkin' act together.

Roger that Alex
I ordered my entire system off their website, including the graphics card, they said they would send them in two lots, total of 900 something quid. Got the first lot but it seems that the second lot if when they see fit!
I would have much rather waited and got my entire system altogether from another place, at least then I wouldn't have the pain of watching it beside me
