That's entirely up to you.

My advice is change the graphics card.

Yes, what GFX card do you have?

If you are unsure, open the PC and it should say on the actual card.

Are you using your onboard video card, and does this only happen when you start up your PC? Or does it happen later on also? Or are you using a PCI-Express card or AGP or PCI? If you are try using your onboard, if your onboard is being used then try borrowing a video card from a friend, put it in your PC, and then see if it happens again. If you want to put a video card in your PC and test it please repost here so I can tell you how to activate that card, so that your comp does not think it is still using your old one.

Take a picture of your computer and post it on here so we can show you what slots you have.

NOTE * The picture MUST be of the inside of the computer where your motherboard is.

No.

You could normally boot into windows and find out, but I doubt in your situation thats possible.

Opening a PC is a two second job and is child's play.

If you want to know what graphics processor/card you've got. My earlier post regarding 'dxdiag' will tell you this.
