This is usually user error - sure you have everything plugged in (24-pin, 4pin, 6+2pin, etc)?

yeah make sure you have everything right. just calm down, dont worry. it will work out. just keep looking. is the rest of the computer on? everything on? case fans, cpu fan, hard drives etc.

yepp, looks like it. followed every rail and double checked all connections.
sounds like it is booting up alright though, harddrive and everything is getting accessed. Everything else is getting power as well, even checked USB ports.
Did I knacker the card???

ok try this. use your old video card to install the new nvida(not beta) drivers for your card, make sure you select the right card. turn off the computer and install your old one. is there a green light in the back?

Let me recap and make sure I got it right:
put 7300GS and install driver for 9600gt. Thn take replace 7300 by 9600 and see what happens?
Green light in back of cards -no.
Green light in back of Comp -yes.
