its not a pci e just a pci graphics card on any motherboard? i have a setting in my bios that says agp or pci graphics do i simple install the pci graphics card and set it in bios as pci? my motherboard is using a agp card at the min

Why would you want to go backwards? AGP cards are better.

because the pci card is 256mb and the agp is somewhere around 20 mb i think so its the better card ?

I don't understand, you have these or plan to buy them?

PCI is ancient in terms of GFX cards, almost any AGP will perform better, it isn't just down to RAM on the cards.

Post links to the cards if you can.

the agp is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440-64mb
the pci card is FX 6200-pci-dvi-tv-256MB

i have both cards and was wondering witch one i should use

In this case I would say the PCI is going to be the better card.

nope your all wrong, the 6200 AGP is identical to 6200 PCI absolutley same performance cos' i own both and compared then with alot of benchmarks but still if you have a AGP go get a 7600GT from aria for £32 it cheap and good.

well i can Now run aero in vista on the FX 6200-pci-dvi-tv-256MB were as i couldent with the NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440-64mb

that was me reason in changing them so i would say the 6200 is the better card
