Aside from the psu power issue you may also need to consider whether or not the case will physically fit the Ultra should you want to purchase it. (I agree with Carbon on that point; get the GT or GTS)....

Default Which card do I get and how do I know?

Yeah I've seen a few reviews regarding it's size, may go for a lower version. Found I do have a PCI-E slot... So is there actually any difference between a card from America and a card from the UK other than price?

Don't really know that much about computers tbh. Have 3GB ram, at the moment a geforce 7300le, running windows vista, 2 hard drives and that's pretty much the extent of my knowledge
