Catalyst Control Center will not recognise my Gigabyte HD 4850 I get this message:
The features in the Catalyst Control Center Basic view do not support the currently active graphics processor. and when I launch advanced view, nothing happens... the gpu works fine but i cannot overclock, etc, etc. It was working fine until I uninstalled them for the Omega Drivers. But ever since I got Catalyst Control Center again it just wont load

I may be in left field, but are you using Vista 64? I could not get CCC to run at all with my Vista64. I don't know whether or not they fixed the problem as I just gave up on all creative labs software.

did you get the right CCC? ive had many problems with CCC. for example, when i installed 8.7, 8.10 and 8.11, they just wouldnt open. so i just use 8.8 and stick with it. try reinstalling it and making sure you have the xp 32 bit version. also, do you have the right display driver? try downloading the full catalyst suite because its known to have problems with different version mixed together.
