This problem has been driving me crazy for a while now i have an x800 pro and have tried various versions of the control centre and it will not start it comes up in task manager briefly then disappears have tried clean installs using revo uninstaller to try and clean all the files out of my os still no difference im using windows 7 but i know that this problem occurs on vista aswell and is quite common i need ccc to fix an overscan issue that cannot be fixed using ati tray tools i have researched this throughly and found no awnsers any help would be appricated

The latest CCC and drivers don't work with cards that old, they aren't built to support them. They video driver may give you good performance but the CCC won't start. Looking at a new card if you really want to get it open. Other than that there's not a lot you can do.
