Default Computer Monitor Shakes

My monitor shakes for some reason.

Nothing seems to trigger the shaking, even if I don't have any electrical appliences switched on nearby and don't have my phone near, it still shakes. It isn't constant but it does happen quite often.

My big fat old monitor worked fine, but this is now the second flat screen that has started shaking.

Can anybody help, please!? :)

Up the refresh rate in display properties.

Could be the lack of i/o shielding on your pc case.

How close is your pc?

Run the monitor at it's native resolution and refresh rate to see if that alleviates it.

My tower is fairly close to the monitor.

And I don't know how to run the monitor at it's original resolution and refresh rate.

Try a different resolution or up the refresh rate for the current resolution to the maximum.

What size screen monitor do you have? I ask because I can talk you through putting the resolution back to the native one.

And is your os Vista or xp?
