Default Conecting a second graphics card + monitor

Hey,

I am wanting to connect a second graphics card to my computer aswell as another monitor. here is what i have for my monitor right now:

Samsung SyncMaster 1080p 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor (245BW)

NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500
- http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...nologies%20Inc

And this is what i want to add:

Samsung 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor (920NW)

3. Can i even connect another video card into my computer?
4. Is the second Video card i selected a good one (what would be beter)?

The second graphics card that you chose is a very good one, it will play most games almost as well as an 8800GTX, sometimes it even performs better when it's overclocked.

Unless your current monitor is using both the connections on your current graphics cards, you can connect two monitors to the one card with no trouble.

Also, unless your mobo has two PCI-e x16 slots, you won't be able to put both the cards in. If it does have multiple slots, it will probably run the cards in SLI which isn't what you want, as this only outputs to one monitor.

It won't run dual cards as SLI unless it's an nforce chipset on the motherboard.

Also, you can't run a Quadro and a 8800GTS in SLI regardless of chipset.

You also don't need 16x pci-e slots to run dual card. Some motherboards whether nforce or not revert their ports to 8x when dual cards are installed.

so lets say my MOBO has room for another video card:

Will i have to connect both monitors to both cards?

Why do i not want my video card connected SLI (what other ways can i connect both cards)?

Also is it complicated enough that i should bring it to a computer shop and have them do it?
