I think this depends on when it happens. Does it happen with all games or just some games? It could be because the game is too old and doesnt use all the possible colors and then it messes up.

last night i adjusted some of NVIDIA 3D settings and things are getting better

I dont quite understand what is going on but could it be dead pixels on your monitor or is it your visual settings?

No, if you don't really understand why post? It's dead/faulty VRAM causing artifacting.

I have the same problem!
it's very strange because it's only in some games like fallout 3 and saints raw 2
what is even stranger is that in hawx and the last remnant it works just fine (and im pretty sure that the last remnant is a lot heavier then fallout or saints raw because it "almost" smooth on full graphics and fallout and saints raw are running very very smooth)
i have the feeling it's some software problem, i tried reinstalling drivers, and installing new directx version worked on first time, on the second time happened again. (this games ran without no problems before)
anyone have ideas?

P.S in fallout when this happens about half minute a play i shot something and game crashes and ati catalyst in tray popups saying he recovered after it stopped responding

Update! fallout 3 running without problem on minimum settings , any ideas?

im running ATI 3850 sapphire 1 gb
on Intel quad core 2.4 GHz
Gigabyte ga-ep43-ds3l
4 gb OCZ DDR 3
and if i remember correct 550 power supply

It's either heat or bad VRAM, there's no way around it.

it's shows 50 on idle...
how come the VRAM burns so fast? i have the card less then a year
