As I said in your other thread, the 1650 is a, to be fair, crap card.

About the only thing it brings to the table over the 9550 is support for shader 3.

really?, no way thats ridiculous , because thought that when ati released there new 1k range the x1050 was the 9550 equevalent, whats cards do you reccomend then for around 80 quid, is the x1900 pro worth getting and how long do you rekon it will keep up with the current games before it needs replacing, or do you think nvidia are offering better cards?

for £80 you can get some decent nvidia 8 series depending on the rest of your computer spec.

i got the 8600gt for £70 off ebuyer

having only used and associated with nvidia cards i cant recommend any ati's sorry mate

The pro is a very good mid-range DX9 card. But try and get the GT if you can as it's basically just a cut-down XT, which in it's day was a superb gaming card.

ok mate, i will look at some nvidias, my spec is amd athlon 64 3200+ clawhammer 1gb 3200 and an ABIT NF8-V Socket 754 Motherboard, i have seen a radeon x800xt PE as well for good money , but then again if i can pick up a decent 8 series that would be the better option as it has shader 3.0 etc, thanks for advice mate :~)

guys found something what i think could be the problem to its slowness, upon opening ATI tool to try and squeeze some extra frames out, ATI tool said at the top defualt profile core 550mhz/memory 300MHZ!!!??, the card has clock ratongs of 600 core/700 mem, so this msut be why its slow ( im talkin around 15-40 fps on ut 2004 avg fps is around 25!, why are the clocks so low?
