i was overclocking my memory clock on my graphics card with rivia tuner and i was a little too impatatient and i went up by 10 instead of 5 like the internet told me to and i started 3dmark06 to see if it was still stable i startied it the first test loaded and there were a bunch of blocks on the screen and then my moniter just went on standby so i restarted and all was fine if i would have saved it i dont know if i would be typing this right now! wow that was close but of course if it did brake it would be a good oppertunity to get a new one... o well its not like i play any graphic intensive games nothing my current card cant handle!

Those are just artifacts. Unlikely it would have broken.

hmm artifacts usually are cause by faluty mem chips but in this case you clocked it to highe, remember to check the temps when overclocking
