I have upgraded from Windows XP to Vista and everything is working good apart from the display settings. The Screen resolution is set to 1024 x 768 pixels but it only gives me the option of Low 8 bit colour. how can i increase the colours? any help witll be great.

you need to get the vista graphics drivers for your pc. if you have a graphics card thats great because all you need to do if get the drivers for it from the makers website (most probally nvidia or ati), but if you have on board graphics you will have to go to your motherboard's maker's website which is harder.
