Default Dual Display

Hey

just recently switched over to a dual display set up.

Just wondering what programs are out there to make the dual display experience any better.

i found a task bar program, downloaded it, and its working great so far.

just wondering if there is anything else out there.

Thanks

Different operating systems implement multiple desktops to a greater or lesser extent. Mine has four out of the box. How many does yours have?

The answer to "what programs are out there to make the dual display experience any better" pretty much depends on the answer to that.

The nVidia stuff that comes with the card should be all you need. I've tried UltraMon but haven't found any use for it. You can set separate wallpapers in the nVidia control panel if you poke around..something a lot of people don't find right away.

yea i've found the wall paper stuff.

i tried UltraMon, i didnt like it, maybe i didnt know how to use it.

but the one i downloaded gave me a different task bar then then XP task bar. The one that showed up was from the older versions of windows, the ugly grey tool bar.

also it only worked for about 20 minutes, i restarted my computer and it wouldnt power back up.
i tried re installing it 3 times with no luck.

went and found this other program, i've been using it for the past week or so with no problems at all.

its not made by mac

or associated with mac

it just means you can have a free moving animated icon toolbar which reminds me of mac

really does spruce up the desktop
