I have a Dell Optiplex 760, got the integrated video card instead of a PCI dual monitor graphics card. Ordered a card from Dell that did not work (it worked only to clone the monitors!) put in a radeon grphics card, but then again the same issue with the monitors being cloned...now I have one monitor setup on VGA ports of the integrated graphics card and the radeon VGA port for the other monitor. That works fine except that I want to be able to stack the monitors and not side-by-side operation, which is not working. The monitors get offset, do not stack on top of eachother....help!!

Do you mean like this? Where the image is spread over 2 monitors that are aligned vertically?

![]() Here I have dragged the 2nd monitor over the first on and have set the display type to"Extend these displays". For this to work both monitors will need to be plugged into the same card so I think you may have to invest in another graphics card. |

The only reason your previous setup did not work was probably because you didn't set it to dual-view rather than cloned...plug both of them into the PCI card, set it to dual-view, then do what xactly posted to get it stacked.
