Default DVI better than VGA?

I was thinking of getting a new 22" but the one i was looking at (an Acer) only has a VGA connection, rather than a DVI. I have adpators but i was wondering will this affect quality or is it just the same really?

DVi is, technically, better than vga as DVI is digital and VGA is analogue.

So the way the screen refreshes is different. But, to be frank, in real world apps it's barely noticeable.

Monitor dependent Cewy. The cable simply allows a refresh and display of image. The quality of image comes from the screen.

It doesnt matter, really, But remember, most DVI-A enabled graphics cards require a DVIA monitor.
(DVIA is just audio on DVI, its really quite pointless.)
