EVGA 9800 GX2 Awful Artifacting
Hello,
I have a fairly new and fairly awesome computer that I bought last August. Inside, it has a decent amount of kick[**8**888 CENZORED LULZ**88*] hardware, including an eVGA 9800 GX2 so on and yada yada (this'in). Recently it has started artifacting and nothing I have done will calm it down. I cleaned out the fairly clean computer case with a can of wind, took out the beastly thing and sprayed the bejesus out of the slot that it was in. I installed the latest and greatest drivers from eVGA, downloaded eVGA Precision, cranked up the fan to 100% and EVEN kissed it as it was going back into the slot. It still artifacts. EVGA 9800 GX2 Awful Artifacting
Not downloading some weird movie thing, please just cut to the chase and attach a picture if you think it is relevant in the future. Artifacts = heat (which you checked for) or VRAM is dead/dying, RMA it.
