Default Geting Black Screen with Video Playback.

normal display is fine only video play back and games affected. has my graphics card died? actually not mine but my stepmothers...

dont know the card the drivers are fine and it played video up untill last week

Could be PSU as well.

well if its intergrated graphics then I dont think its the PSU... maybe you should scan your PC for viruses and what videos are you trying to run ? my old windows 98 PC, P2 266mhz, 64mb ram and 2mb graphics card handled VCD's fine but obviously I dont use it anymore...

OP states it's a graphics "card" and it was working fine before, so it's obviously not a question of performance.

the comp is an old one as far as i know and the movies are just torrented tv shows and movies. installed vlc and klite just to make sure it wasnt wmp being arsey. and it wasnt. pretty sure its not a virus. anyway im gonna order a cheap grapics card and some better ram and hope for the best. the've had so many problems with it.
