Hi guys,

Just picked this up from PC World for £20 - wondered if it was a good deal!!

BFG Tech NVidia GeForce 8600 GTS Overclocked

Any comments - I know nothing but needed a new card anyway and thought it was cheap enough not to worry about!

Depends, if its for displaying Windows and Paint then its pretty good I suppose. Don't go expecting to max out Crysis on it though. It wont do too badly on HL2 Lost Coast with HDR and the like but as I say, newer more demanding games wont run great..

8600GTS is never a good deal :) You got it for cheap, but it's an absolutely awful card, 8 series midrange is pretty pitiful for gaming.
