Just spent £500 on a new computer which I built myself. Got a Intel dual core processor which is 3.0ghz, and 4gb of ddr2 ram as well.
Can you tell me if this card is good enough for most games which are new out at the moment? Sapphire HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 Dual DVI Dual slot cooler HDTV Out PCI-E I bought this for £104, and plan on playing some games, like world of warcraft, and maybe some shoot em ups too. Thanks |

It'll be more than fine for your purposes. In fact I have one in my computer at the moment.
Why don't you just give it a spin and see what you think?

Did you install drivers for it? '
Jumpyness sounds like the PC's still running off the onboard "card".

Found the problem. It was because Sim City was set to using Hardware rendering instead of Software rendering. Very smooth now.
Thanks everyone. |
