I also bought a 580 watt Hiper power supply, the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer case and last night a 250GB HDD. So far total cost is around £350 (a little less I think). However I have only got a 64MB graphics card . Anyway, I need a PCI-E graphics cards with a budget of around £100, doesn't have to be exactly £100 or below £100. Just around that price. What would you recommend?

When my girlfriend isn't around, hardcore gamer lol. When she is around I don't get to play because she won't let me! Also I'm on Windows XP, not Vista.

lol
So will you be using Vista or XP
If XP than I suggest this which is a bargain
Or if you are using Vista than I suggest this
Note that the 8600 is not as powerful as the X1950pro but it does support DX10

I will be using XP. A friend of mine tells me ATI are crap and to get nVidia. Do you disagree? At that price, I might as well get 2 for dual graphics!

Yes, for what your budget is the 1950 is the way to go
If you want to spend about £600+ than yes Nvidia do have the fastest card in the world(at stock), but like I said for budget/performance the above card is best

Also I guess you friend doesn't know much, as the current world record in 3dmark06(a graphics benchmarking tool) is held by ATI 2x2900xt's(liquid cooled)

You have an SLI motherboard you need a crossfire motherboard to run two 1950pros

Edit: so if you are going to use two cards you will have to buy Nvidia cards, but for slight the performance increase you will get it just isn't really worth it
