Are you planning to play graphical intensive video games on your computer? If not, then I think your existing graphics card should be fine.
If you want to put in a secondary graphics card, the process you are describing is called SLI (if you are using a Nvidia card) or CrossFire (if you are using an ATI card). To CrossFire, you must make sure your motherboard can handle it - ie have a spare graphics card slot. Open up your case and take a look. You are looking for a slot below your graphics card that is about ten inches long. Secondly, you need to make sure your power supply can provide enough power. How much wattage is your power supply? Lastly, you can only CrossFire two exact video cards. I'm not exactly sure why, but that is the way it works. So for your case, you cannot get a Nvidia 9500. If you want to CrossFire, you can only do it with another ATI 4350. Sorry for the bad news. Here is a link to a post for more info about SLI/CrossFire. If you are planning to game, I strongly suggest that you upgrade from a 4350 to something a little more expensive. I recommend a ATI 4850 or Nvidia 9800 which both cost ~$150US. |

If this is one of the slimline HP machines you are largely out of luck as well - you will have to buy a new PSU and graphics card and the best you're going to get is a 4550 or 4650.

Oh, that's good, the slimline ones are annoying. The 9500GT is crap, though - what resolution are you running? You'll probably need a new PSU as well, but since the case is full size you should be OK on a full-size card.

Well Ill be honest, using a computer in anyway i can do...but its when it gets to the inside of a computer were i dont have much idea sadly.
Ive been looking at a few cards, and also reviews on them, and with the 9600GT GTA 4 seems to run really well, all settings on high, thats the game i play on most, well not at the moment because of the poor graphics, i also play on COD 4.... Im not looking to spend a large amout of money one a graphics card, im just happy if it runs smoothly and looks reasonably good. |

GTAIV on a 9600GT is going to be a FPS bloodbath. There is absolutely no way you're going to be able to run GTA4 on High - I have a 8800GTS 320 and it struggles along at 25FPS average on all Low settings with an overclocked CPU. COD4 is doable, but there's better value cards. The 4850 is the best lower-resolution value right now for a gaming card.
