HI, Im upgrading my system and i'm wondering should i get a intel qx9650 with an extra nvidia 8800 graphics card, or get a normal quad from intel (not the extreame 1) and get another graphics card so i can go sli. I must admit i am strarting to get into gaming, crysis,call of duty 4 and unral tornament 3 etc.

So what shoulod i do

ps. alreay got an 8800 gtx oc from BFG

first you need to know a bit about SLI.

the benefits of sli ONLY come out with high resolutions, a.k.a. 1600x1200 and above.

if you have a monitor capable of delivering those resolutions, then perhaps you might want to go sli and try it out.

otherwise, stick to the nice processor and don't bother buying a second card, or at least buy the ultra and see if that outperforms the regular GTX.
