Default graphics upgrade

i currently own a inspiron 530 w/ a intel pentium E2160 processor and a geforce 8300, from what i've heard and experienced, it's a pretty slow card and can't handle
counter-strike source at all. I'm on a quest to find a better card, do you have any recommendations? I was looking at the X1950 Pro.

Default graphics upgrade

You need to give more details about your system.
Anyway isnt the 8300 a PCI Express card?
The X1950 Pro is AGP is it not?So its not compatible with your system unless you have a motherboard that supports AGP and PCI-E (possible but unlikely).
