Default GT and GS

i have an nvidia 7600 GS, im looking to buy a new card as i cant seem to play most games on a 1280 res, ive put vista to blame for eating up my computer, my specs are fairly good

2gig ram
2ghz dual core athlon etc

what i wanna know is whats the difference between the GT and GS of each graphics card of the geforce series, also im looking to buy one of the 8 series, i found a few on amazon which is very much in my budget. three links below,

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xpertvision-...9764013&sr=1-6

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inno3D-Gefor...9764013&sr=1-7

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inno3D-Gefor...9764013&sr=1-1

what would be the best to run games such as bioshock as i cant even play that with 1024 res on extremely low settings, i mean i can but theres slight mouse lag and that drives me crazy!

also i have noticed the 8500 series there is a inno3D version and xpervision, they different manufactuors (spell check lol) thanks in advance!

Dave!

8500 are as budget as budget gets. Probably equal to your existing card.
8600 is okay but you'll be playing Bioshock at medium or low.

There's really no reason not to go for a 8800GT at this point - or a secondhand 8800GTS.
