Default HD 4850 lag

Hey, I have a gigabyte hd 4850 with 512mb of RAM, and i get lag in crysis, it runs at a mere 20 fps. any suggestions, or is this normal?...

crysis is a horrible benchmark. you also haven't said what settings you're using or what res you're at.

i would try 3D mark, then you can get a good guidance of its true performance. Also it would help if you specified your settings :)

Also Crysis is optimized for nVidia cards
