Default HD cable, quick answer needed.

I just got a new 22inch widescreen HD monitor and surround sound.

Everything works and im enjoying playing with surround sound on a huge monitor playing bioshock and crysis. The problem is i want to go further.
The screen being HD came with a HD cable, so i plugged the HD cable into my monitor but where do i put the other end?

My have a 8800 GTS 320mb graphics card if that matters, i thought with the VGA cable connecting to the card directly that the HD would go somewhere around that area.

Thanks for reading. Have a great evening!

You have only given it an hour. Patience mate.

Anyway, you need a graphics card and monitor with an HDMI connector.

My monitor is HDMI but i think my graphics card is different. It has a little black round hole where the HD should be so maybe there is a connector of some sort?
