Computer noob here. I just bought an LG W2452T 24-inch monitor and I am trying to get it started up now. I figured it would be as easy as plugging it in and installing the driver, but apparently the monitor won't even work without the driver installed. So I plugged in my old monitor to install the driver and every time I click on the Monitor Driver Install button I just get an error message saying "Failed to update the system registery. Please try using REGEDIT." Now of course I have no idea what REGEDIT even is and it doesn't tell me anything else. I'm seriously annoyed since I've been banging my head against this wall for 3 hours now. What is going on?? Did they send the wrong install CD with my monitor or am I just retarded and it's something really simple? Also in the User Guide it says I can download the driver from LG's website but I've searched everything and haven't found it. Even google'd it and came up with nothing.

Failed to update the system registry, eh? Are you logged in as Administrator? Try installing drivers again using an Administrator account. I am a blur when it comes to monitors but maybe. I thought most monitors is Plug and Play.

Monitors have no drivers.
