Default help newbie computer screen problem

my computer screen has gone abit funny.

the grafics on my desktop looks like its losing colour. every thing is working fine function wize. i dont know why some parts of the screen is purpul and some parts are blue. when the whole thing is meant to be blue.

does any one know what happened.
