Hi Guys
Got a strange problem, I've started playing a game called 'PREY' lately and have noticed when anything major is happening a flashing horizontal line makes it's way from the top of my screen to the bottom almost like it's refreshing, I never had this problem with call of duty 4, so doubt it's to do with graphics, the games runs flawlessly apart from this, and I have the same problem whether running in high graphics or medium.

what resolution/refresh rate have you set it to

could be the problem

Could also be just a driver issue. Usually this is overheating/vram failure/etc but if it only happens in one game it's definitely not that.

i'm running the game in 1024x768 and i'm not able to adjust refresh rates in-game

hhmm its just in some games you can pick the same resolution on say three different refresh rates

obviously this aint the problem then

have you installed the newest drivers for your card like carbon suggested, always helps, but as its just this game im puzzled.

maybe its just a bug in the game if its the only time it happens? what kind of game is it , online or is it on a disk.

have you downloaded the newest patches for the game, but it doesn't sound like a bug to me, could just be faulty

try a new patch if that doesn't work see if you can get a replacement disk from where ever you bought it

completely uninstall the game give your disk a good clean and re install worked for me before
