| My system... mobo:ASUS P5Q cpu: Intel Q9550 ram: 2x2gb Corsair PC2-6400 video: MSI nvidia GeForce 8600gts (fanless )i would like to overclock the videocard. Now i have a bios setting that can set the clock for the pci-express port, default at 100mhz overclocked till 180mhz. Since i dont consider myself experienced with this i would like to know what settings i could try out in a safe way or would i be safer with a program like n-tune that overclocks from the os, and what temperature monitoring software should i use to see how hot my fanless design goes. |

| That doesn't do anything. Download Rivatuner and follow the instructions.

| The "clock" you're looking at is for the port, not the card. You want to overclock the card, so rivatuner or ntune will be needed. |
