When I bought my comp I bought a pretty good video card at the time (3 yrs. ago) that can support 2 monitors for it. I just noticed the stock output for a monitor and hooked up a third monitor to it but its not sending info to the monitor. How can I get the output working for the 3rd monitor?

You should be able to configure this using the software that came with your graphics card.

If you do not have it to hand have a look on the manufacturers website.

it wouldnt work i've tried i had a 6200 outputing 2 monitor then tried the output the 3rd monitor with my stock card (GMA900) the gma 900 displayed the desktop and nothing else, only 1 video card can output to the monitor unless u have 2 exact same one and they are paired in crossfire or SLi

first don't bump old threads

that's false, the reason you're not getting an output on the GMA is because the GMA is not a graphics card, it's a integrated controller

this is also false, SLi'd graphics cards will _only_ allow monitors to be connected to the primary graphics card. non-Xfired or SLId cards can support as many as they have DVI outputs for - three 8800GTs can support 6 monitors, at long as they're not bridged through SLI.
