ok i have an old computer and was just wondering if i can increase the video memory- share it with ram. its a kinda old pc that only suppports 32 mb video memory. i have gone into the bios to chec if i can increase it but the maximum is 32. somebody told me that there are programs that can increase it(i think is graphics accelerator!) and i dont plan to buy a video card. the computer is not used heavily for gaming. if i can increase it with the accelerator which program i need?

A dedicated video card won't allow eating up any more RAM, sorry. I have a hard time thinking of any time when 32MB wouldn't be enough if you're not a gamer, though, what sort of problems are you having and are you sure they aren't related to your regular RAM?
