Default Issues with graphics card - PC crashes when gaming

im using AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual (as my mother board) but im not yet sure exactly what the problem might be.

i have a decently old graphic card but it always did and still should be able to support most games like World of Warcraft and Warcraft 3, espesically since those games have minimal requirements for graphics.
anyway, as im playing any game regularly, about 15-20 minutes into game the graphics get really bad and if i stay in the game another 5 minutes my computer crashes. if i exit the game, the computer doesn't crash, but the shitty graphics stay until i restart the PC. theres only a couple of games this doesn't happen to, but it mostly happens to all of the games i tried. this also might be a mother board problem because when i ever turn my tower left or right even slightly, the whole monitor turns purple/pink but you can still see everyting. and sound sometimes gets bad up as well.
heres a picture :

and usually the cursor goes completely white both in game and out game.
thanks for any help guys :)
i would appreiciate any help if there is a solution to this problem or how to declare if its the mother board or graphics card, or possibly both, or maybe its easily fixable :]

also i would like to mention even when my graphics seem fine on the desktop, theres always like 5-6 icons that are missing their picture completely, even though they are still there

Have you ever cleaned out the inside of your computer and/or graphics card? It may be overheating due to dust.......

Yeah, that's overheating.
